Ceramic Mug Pottery Workshop – Friday 24th April at Titsey Brewing 10 – 12pm
Ready to get your hands dirty (in the best way)? In this pottery class, you’ll dive into the relaxing and playful world of hand-building – a pottery technique that lets you shape clay entirely by hand. It’s a slower, more mindful process that’s perfect for beginners.
You’ll learn how to hand-build your very own unique coffee/tea mug using a technique called slab building. Over the course of two hours, we will experiment with texture and form so that you can craft a mug that is completely personal to you. Lisa our local potter will be there to guide you through the making process and will carefully fire your creations at her home studio and dip glaze each piece, then they can be collected from The Titsey Brewery within 3 weeks of the class.
Just wear clothes you don’t mind getting a bit dusty (clay dust washes out easily).
Spaces are limited, so book early to secure your spot!
Price – £49 per person – tickets include a hot/soft drink.
Location: The Tanks, Titsey Taproom
Our bar will be open for coffee, tea, soft drinks etc. We’ll also be serving breakfast until 11.30am, or join us after the class for lunch from 12.30pm.
