Leveson Buck – 36 Pint PolyPin
£83.00Enjoy a 20 litre polypin of our live cask-conditioned beer. Perfect for a party or gathering.
BBE: 10 Days following collection.
This is collection only from our Brewery & Taproom – please note we cannot deliver Polypins and we require 2 days to get them ready for you. If you require a polypin on the day then please phone us.
Our polypins are great for small gatherings and feature a built in tap for pouring around 36 pints of our finest beer. It contains live beer so requires venting and settling for minimum of 24 hours before serving.
Our polypins may contain sediment. Leave to settle for at least 24 hours before pouring and see our additional tips for maximising the enjoyment of your beer.
Our beer in the polypin is cask conditioned (real ale) which means that:
• It is live beer, we put it into the polypins with active yeast still present.
• It can be hazy, and not crystal clear like you would expect a pint of lager to be.
• It isn’t ‘fizzy’ like a keg beer but should have a gentle sparkle.
Here are some steps to the perfect pour:-
KEEP IT COOL – Ideally, cask beer is kept between 12-14 degrees. It is not recommended to keep the beer fridge cold, most fridges sit at about 4 degrees these cold temperatures will cause the live yeast in the beer to go dormant and could result in your beer being flat. We suggest trying to find a cool corner of the house and keep it there.
LET IT SETTLE- The polypins have yeast in them (just like our 39Litre casks we send to pubs) which although it does lovely things to the beer it is not that nice to drink. You need to let a polypin settle for at least 24 hours before pouring. Please do not move it after you have let it settle or you will need to start all over again. So, let it settle in the same place you want to have it pouring.
POUR IT- Being careful not to disturb the polypin. TOP TIP- Pour the beer from a height into the glass if you want to get more head on your glass.
FINISH IT OFF- Once your polypin is nearly empty you will start to see sediment appearing in your glass, this is the yeast that you let settle to the bottom, once this starts to happen you have reached the end. It is normal to still have a little beer in the bottom, but this is best washed away.

Winter Wolf – 8 Pint Mini-Cask
£27.00Enjoy a 5 litre mini-cask of our christmas seasonal Winter Wolf… our dark amber ESB.
This Extra Special Bitter is the perfect seasonal to satisfy your Christmas tastebuds. The ESB style is known for its balance and the interplay between malt and hop bitterness. Our Winter Wolf ESB displays earthy, herbal, hoppy character through the use of English Goldings and Bramling. The residual malt and defining sweetness of this richly flavoured and medium bodied beer come from the use of Maris Otter, Crystal and Amber malts.
Earthy on the nose with a mellow background, this brew has a warming caramel malt flavour, perfect for those cold winter nights. The Golding & Bramling hop additions add bitterness, yet this medium-bodied brew maintains an ample malt foundation on the way to a smooth, refreshing finish.
Flavour: Wild, festive scents shred their way through a wintery blend of crisp, sweet malts
This is collection only from our Brewery & Taproom – please note we cannot deliver Mini-Casks.
